About

Hi, I'm Thomas Props. Founder and Coach at Props 2U Coaching.

I've been a musician since I was about 10 years old. This brought me all the way from learning to read notes to getting a bachelor's degree as a drummer.

At some point in building my career as a musician, however, I noticed my concentration and subsequently my productivity was failing me. After finding out I have ADHD, I set out to make things as comfortable for myself as I could. This was not easy and although there were some
forms of support around me, I never found the one I felt I needed.

This then led to creating a coaching program specified to the needs of artists. I got a degree in coaching and I'm learning new things about the art of coaching every day.

I aim to make the present a little easier and the future a little brighter for artists, wherever they may be.

My Credentials

Bachelor of Music | Rockacademie Tilburg, the Netherlands

CIVAS ADHD-coaching degree (CRKBO | NRTO)

Financial Aid

Coaching is a relatively new field. That means it might not be supported by your health insurance.
Though, if you go down the following checklist, you might find that some organisations offer financial aid that you can use to follow a coaching program!

Be sure to check with:

  • Your Employer.
Some employers have set aside a budget to support and/or educate their employees. It's also possible your employer has a dedicated strategy to prevent burn-out.
  • Your Insurance Company.
Every insurance company is different. Coaching is often put under umbrella terms such as 'Counseling', 'Psycho-social Care' or 'Alternative Treatments'. Contact your insurance company to see if these kinds of funding are usable for coaching.
  • PGB.
Should you live in the Netherlands, you might be eligible for a PGB (Persoonsgebonden Budget / Person bound Budget). This is financial aid that you can use to find the healthcare that works for you.
